When Fu Nanshuang was on the verge of starving to death, a card-drawing System appeared in her mind. It demanded that she steal the halo of the beloved junior sister and become the heroine.
Fu Nanshuang asked weakly, "What did the beloved junior sister ever do to me?"
The card-drawing System replied, "According to the plot, your beloved junior sister will trample you underfoot. Everyone will love her, while you'll suffer emotional and physical torment before dying without a whole corpse."
The beloved junior sister, destined to be adored in the future, was currently tugging at Fu Nanshuang's sleeve and saying she was hungry.
Fu Nanshuang silently watched the beloved junior sister, who was gaunt and sallow, and decided to wait for the plot to unfold before doing anything. She couldn't bring herself to pick on a little kid.
The card-drawing System was thrilled: The person I picked is so magnanimous. She has the makings of a heroine!
Time passed, until the beloved junior sister put on men's clothes and her voice changed to a man's. With a pair of seductive eyes, she called out "Senior Sister" every day.
Only then did Fu Nanshuang realize something was wrong. She stared blankly at her "junior sister," who now stood a head taller than her.
"Senior Sister, our Xuanhu clan only determines our gender when we come of age. It's my fault for not telling you sooner." Luo Fengxue looked perfectly docile.
Fu Nanshuang, still a lazy fish, said: Hey, that counts as completing the mission, right?
"You say I live off other people's money, so why don't you do the same? Is it because your teeth are bad?"
"So that's why Master didn't care about me and Senior Sister. You were in seclusion. I thought you were dead."
"Why didn't you come looking for your daughter sooner? Did you only grow a conscience today?"
Luo Fengxue took on the whole world, and the card-drawing System complained to Fu Nanshuang.
Just then, Luo Fengxue came over carrying tea. "Senior Sister, have some water."
Fu Nanshuang was confused: Isn't she pretty well-behaved?
