Su Yeliang transmigrates into the black-hearted villainous mentor Su Qingzhe from the harem novel The One and Only Under Heaven.
In the original story, Su Qingzhe is a black-hearted mentor and a minor early-stage villain.
He says one thing to your face and another behind your back, pretending to be lofty, kind, and virtuous, with profound cultivation. In reality, his spiritual meridians are half destroyed. Even a Foundation Establishment cultivator giving it their all could send him straight to the afterlife.
Su Qingzhe gives the protagonist, his disciple Qin Wenxue, who is the chosen child of heaven, all sorts of “miracle pills.” In fact, they're pills made with parasitic worms, intended to raise Qin Wenxue into a puppet he can use to prolong his own life.
Naturally, things come to a dead end in the finale.
At the Myriad Immortals Assembly, Qin Wenxue and his junior sister expose Su Qingzhe's true nature in public. The Supreme Immortal Venerable personally brings down heavenly punishment, and Su Qingzhe is thrown into the Immortal Prison. His spiritual meridians are severed, and he is left with only one breath, lingering until his body dies and his soul is extinguished.
The moment Su Yeliang transmigrates, he sees the young protagonist holding one of those so-called “miracle pills,” about to swallow it. His body reacts before his mind, and he slaps the pill out of the child's hand.
Under the confused gaze of eight-year-old Qin Wenxue, Su Yeliang keeps a straight face and calmly says:
“Medicine tastes bitter. Come on, your master will get you some candy.”
The little half-demon Qin Wenxue reveals a pair of snowy-white cat ears and smiles sweetly.
“Okay. Master is the best.”
In his previous life, Qin Wenxue was the child of a little cat demon and a human man. As a half-demon, he had an awkward place between the demon and human worlds. The elders on both sides passed him back and forth, neither willing to take in the insignificant Qin Wenxue.
Little Qin Wenxue was forced to wander, eating other people's unwanted steamed buns and drinking foul-smelling river water.
Then a handsome immortal took him in as a disciple, and Qin Wenxue thought he had finally found a home.
He kept all his master's kindness close to his heart, writing it down in a notebook. Little Qin Wenxue naively thought that since his master was so good to him, he would repay his master with just as much kindness one day.
“Puppet,” “worm medicine,” “substitute for death.”
At first, Qin Wenxue didn't believe it. His master was the best to him, until the immortal he admired most personally knelt before the Supreme Immortal Venerable and admitted it.
“It's all true.”
From that moment on, Qin Wenxue lost all hope and could never again give anyone his sincere affection.
After returning to the past, Qin Wenxue's memories were shrouded in dust. He remembered everything before his coming-of-age ceremony.
On the closed eyes of that person, Qin Wenxue placed a gentle kiss. His eyes brimmed with darkness and madness.
“In this life, Master must never betray Wenxue again.”
* An obedient, adorable little white flower in the early story, who does whatever his master says. Later, a sweet-on-the-outside, dark-on-the-inside big cat with a possessive streak. Top: Qin Wenxue.
* You think he's kind, but he's actually quite petty and protective. All my kids are good because I raised them that way. Bottom: Su Qingzhe (Su Yeliang).
[ * This is another idea that came to me on a whim, and I may not write it properly.
* As before, I politely decline writing advice, but thank you to everyone who inspires me.
* I'm a student and update irregularly. I'll write when I have ideas.
* The usual cultivation levels in this story:
Qi Refining → Foundation Establishment → Golden Core → Nascent Soul → Spirit Transformation → Void Refinement → Body Integration → Great Ascension
* Plotting is so hard, but I'm still one of those people who loves doing it despite being bad at it. This is a five-cent plot and five-cent cultivation story. Please make do with it. It's also fine if you don't want to read it. (Draws circles.) ]
