A possessive, all-talk-no-action, fiercely protective, hot-tempered heartthrob (gong) VS a sweet, kind, good-natured, easygoing little airhead who knows how to flirt (shou)
Jian Li lost a game, and everyone egged him on to pick a dare. The dare was to call Liang Yu.
Amid the racket, someone who had no idea what was going on asked, "Who is Liang Yu? Why would making Jian Li call him count as a dare?"
Someone answered, "Liang Yu is Jian Li's brother in everything but blood. He treats him like a son: no smoking, no swearing, no bars, and no staying out all night. Jian Li sneaked out tonight, and if he gets caught, he'll be in for a spanking."
Jian Li couldn't bear to lose face. "That's nonsense! I'm not scared of him!"
He'd barely finished speaking when his phone rang. He picked it up and saw the caller ID: Big Tyrant.
"..."
Everyone assumed he'd get a beating when he went home that night.
But the next morning, Jian Li woke up feeling refreshed and perfectly at ease.
Liang Yu, on the other hand, looked gloomy. There were bite marks on his chin, and the corner of his mouth was injured.
"Jian Xiaoli, if you get drunk again, I'll smash your head in!"
Jian Xiaoli shrank back under the covers. "I'm sorry."
--
One day, Jian Li made two phone cases by hand.
He gave one to Liang Yu.
Liang Yu looked utterly disgusted. "Jian Xiaoli, when are you going to graduate from kindergarten?"
Jian Li huffed. "Fine, don't take it!"
Liang Yu snatched it back. "All right, I'll make do with it."
Later, his roommate saw the case and teased him. "Yu Ge, this phone case of yours is seriously ugly."
Liang Yu said, "What do you know? It's a limited edition, available worldwide."

The grass by your own fence always attracts people who want to pick it.
Liang Yu couldn't relax, and wanted to keep Jian Li right under his nose. The problem was that Jian Li was a bit of an idiot and believed everything people told him.
Liang Yu was always afraid someone would trick him into getting his kidneys harvested. When he couldn't take it anymore, he cornered Jian Li and gave him a heartfelt lecture.
Jian Li was baffled. "Ge, what are you actually trying to tell me?"
Liang Yu felt a rush of blood rise in his throat. He practically wanted to crack open Jian Li's skull and see if it was filled with tofu scraps!
This was so damn frustrating. How could he be so stupid that he couldn't even recognize a confession?
Liang Yu turned and stormed off in a rage.
Only then did Jian Li catch on. "Ge, were you confessing to me?"
Liang Yu kept walking. "I was talking crap."
Jian Li's heart bloomed with joy. "I like you too!"
Muttering curses, Liang Yu turned around.
This was so damn frustrating. So he did understand after all. Why didn't he say so sooner?

Love really makes no sense. It's like brine curdling tofu: one thing always brings another to heel.
Liang Yu had a terrible temper, and the tenderness he'd saved up for twenty years was enough for Jian Li alone.

CP: A gentle, self-possessed, and warm shou VS a scheming, unhinged, green-tea gong
An Zhirong was a warm, kindhearted, honest man.
One day, Uncle Wang next door had an accident, leaving the handsome young man he'd recently brought home without his last protector.
Everyone felt sorry for the boy, but no one was willing to help him.
The boy didn't seem to care. He merely fixed his red-rimmed eyes on An Zhirong, looking pitiful and wronged.
An Zhirong found it strange. The boy was acting as if An Zhirong owed him something from a past life.
Perhaps it was because An Zhirong had glanced at him a little longer than everyone else, but the boy attached himself to him.
"A-Rong, I don't have a single relative left."
An Zhirong: So? Is that why you climbed over my wall in the middle of the night?
Jiang Muyao: "Please let me stay with you. I'll work like an ox and a horse for you. From now on, I'll do whatever you tell me to."
An Zhirong: "What nonsense are you talking about?"
The boy doubled down. "I'll make you very rich and guarantee you a life of luxury. Let me stay with you, okay?"
The boy had eyes that seemed born to beguile: clear, beautiful, and deep with feeling, like the moon hanging high above the mountains or the tranquil depths of the sea. Anyone who looked into them couldn't help feeling fondness and pity.
An Zhirong didn't buy into his promises, but he still softened and took him in.
Because of that "dream."
The boy was hardworking and obedient, practically doing everything An Zhirong said. Aside from his bad habit of climbing into his bed in the middle of the night, ahem, climbing over the wall, he was wonderful in every way.

Hahaha, I have to ask your brother Ali, honey, I'm going to crush this young couple.
I read it when I forgot my birthday, so I immediately turned down and didn't want to read it. Then I looked at the table of contents and saw that it was finished in just a few chapters. Forget it, I bought it and read it all. It's not bad at all.
Forgot about the first birthday after we got together, hanging out with friends, my god. Although I apologized, the other party would just feel that they were not taken seriously. Although I accepted the apology, it was really disgusting.
I can forget my birthday, it's amazing
