Yun Weiyi transmigrates into a monster game called Age of Monsters, becoming an NPC with no presence whatsoever.
To stay alive, she dutifully completes tasks: turning off the lights, moving props, collecting blood plasma, and drifting around like a little monster along the players' route.
Until one day, the monster boss catches Yun Weiyi's scent.
The monsters that once harassed the players turn their attention to Yun Weiyi.
But this time, things are different. Vampires, evil spirits, and tentacle monsters put away the threats, blades, and intimidation they used on players, and give up blood bags, hosts, and brain food.
Instead, they crawl at her feet, whispering their love and begging for even the slightest glance from her.
Those sweet flavors become the very thing they need to survive.
Instance 1: The Tentacle Monster's Bride
The first person to enter the ultimate secret room will become the tentacle monster's bride and gain the right to rule the instance.
But just as the players race to find keys, crack codes, and search for crowbars to open the secret room,
Click. The door opens.
A girl wrapped in a white bedsheet, with only her eyes showing, steps out. Her whole body is covered in tentacle slime.
The players stare in shock:
...Did I see that right? The bride is that NPC?
Instance 2: The Vampire's Sacrificial Master
Rumor has it there's an ultimate item in the instance: the Red Dancing Shoes, nurtured by a vampire's blood. Whoever obtains them can avoid every disaster in the instance.
But obtaining them requires a sacrifice, so everyone avoids them and no one dares try.
Later, the dancing shoes are placed at the feet of an NPC.
But she isn't the one who makes the sacrifice. The vampire monster offers them to her of its own accord.
Instance 3: The Night Angel's Prisoner
Yun Weiyi is forced to occupy a player's ritual altar. Rose vines bind her to an old stone platform, with a dark crow standing beside her.
When she wakes, ancient chanting echoes in her ears.
Whenever this sound rings out in the instance, it's a murmur foretelling death.
But this time, she somehow understands the obscure language. The voice of the Night Angel is bewitching, trembling with overwhelming excitement.
"A Yi, you're finally mine."

I Became a God Through Involution in a Rules-Based Horror World
The horror world seeped in one morning. A monster took over the body of Mu Niange's boss and announced that it was taking full control of the company.
Just as Mu Niange is named Employee of the Month, she sees a long, floating price list hovering in front of her.
To her surprise, as someone who'd been working herself to the bone for money, she discovers that she'd unlocked some unusual horror-world rules.
Rules for ordinary people:
[The bus won't skip three consecutive stops. If it does, jump out the window and flee as quickly as possible. Don't talk to any strangers while doing so.]
[If a man wearing a double-brimmed baseball cap approaches to sell you something, don't make eye contact. Make an excuse and leave immediately.]
[Beware of colleagues who ask to borrow your charger. Check whether their pupils are red. If they are, sound the company alarm.]
Mu Niange's points surge, and she unlocks additional information:
[Strangers include, but aren't limited to, your own shadow. If it starts talking, don't answer.]
[If you can take the sales flyer and slap it in his face, you'll unlock a new area of rules.]
[The company alarm is also something to avoid if it's red.]
Having gotten a taste for it, Mu Niange throws herself into discovering new areas of horror-world rules.
Other people can see one rule, while she can see two or three.
Other people analyze the rules, while she already has the annotations.
Other people are chased by horror-world NPCs, while she's already worked hard enough to recruit NPCs to work for her...
The horror boss, whose employees have all been poached: ...%*@#!
