On hiatus for major revisions.
It was when they were rushing to rescue Zero and the others.
"Hiromitsu, that expression is wrong! Your eyes should have one part anticipation, two parts yearning, three parts barely contained eagerness, and four parts keen interest!"
"Ah... Is this right?"
"Still not right." Feiyu Kong frowned and reached out to adjust Morofushi Hiromitsu's face. Matsuda Jinpei pushed him aside, and Hagiwara Kenji took the cue and put sunglasses on Morofushi Hiromitsu.
"See? That's better." That was Matsuda.
"There, let's focus on rescuing little Furuya and the others for now." That was Hagiwara.
"... Fine." That was Feiyu Kong, who was very reluctant to give in.
"...?" That was Morofushi Hiromitsu, with a giant question mark over his head as he tried his best to keep smiling politely.
On the way, Hagiwara Kenji kindly explained things to Morofushi Hiromitsu.
"Little Feather... has this strange thing about the expressions people should have when they're role-playing. Don't worry, he'll be fine soon."
On the way back, his face, originally full of misery at having his favorite activity interrupted, really did change from cloudy to partly cloudy, then from partly cloudy to sunny.
What a strange hobby, Morofushi Hiromitsu thought.
"I have a dream."
"I hope everyone can have limitless possibilities, instead of being trapped by a script, with their fate already decided..."
"The future."
This is actually a sweet story.
1. The main plot centers on the police academy group and has almost nothing to do with the original main storyline. It won't force its way into the original plot, and the original main cast won't show up every time. The story saves the five-four tragedy. Hiroki is saved at a friend's request.
2. There are many original characters and some original cases, but not too many. My intelligence is the upper limit of my characters' intelligence. I don't accept writing advice.
3. The police academy group gets a happy ending. No angst, just lots of interaction with the police academy group. The protagonist is on the police academy group's side.
4. If something doesn't make sense, you can point it out, but please be tactful.
5. I came up with all the character settings and such during class. There was no opportunity to plagiarize. Any similarities are purely coincidental. My writing is rough.
6. I've given up on saving up chapters. I'll write when I get back, and post when I've written something. I'm a high school student, so updates will come every two or three weeks. The school decides when I can update.
