As a System, I Went on Strike and Quit

System 8866 is a notorious unlucky duck in the System world.

While the Systems from her cohort get promoted and raises, she's stuck working tirelessly in the back office.

After getting beaten down by the world of work, System 8866 goes from "My fate is mine to control" to "I'll just get through one day at a time."

Her ultimate goal is to meet the minimum number of years on the job, retire as soon as possible, and live off her pension until she dies.

But a major bug appears in Mission World 785. With no other choice, the Main System loans System 8866 out to work in the Infinite System world.

System 8866 bursts into tears: But I'm scared of ghosts!!!

Besides, everyone knows that borrowed workers get worked like donkeys. They have tons of missions and no pay raise.

But a working System has no say in the matter. System 8866 is tossed into the Infinite System world with her little bundle on her back.

Luckily, the new department's big boss doesn't think much of her and only assigns her clerical work in System Space.

For the first time, 8866 thinks that maybe the warehouse full of Buddha statues she stockpiled might actually be useful.

But how did she end up becoming the biggest power behind the scenes in Infinite Space?!

8866 glares at the dog of a boss in the luxury office across from her, gritting her teeth. "I take the blame and don't even get a bonus? I'm quitting and going on strike!"
