Everyone Sees Me as Their Beautiful, Tragic White Moonlight

On the brink of death, Cang Yu bound himself to a System and gained a chance to come back to life in the world of comics.

There was just one catch: he would return as a passerby. Once the story began, he would have to drive the plot forward, then make his exit at the right moment.

Cang Yu: No problem. I'm a professional. You can count on me, System.

In a high-school romance comic, he is the upperclassman who constantly extorts exorbitant protection money from the good-for-nothing male lead and goes out of his way to crush him at every turn.

"All you do is run away and cower. You don't even deserve the chance to compete against me on the same stage, do you?"

In a modern urban fantasy comic, he seems to be the kind older brother who adopts one of the two male leads, but is actually a researcher who stops at nothing to achieve his goals.

"I don't regret dying at your hands... Because only this way can you become my perfect test subject."

In a mystery-detective comic, he appears to be a hot-blooded, foolish loner, but is actually an antisocial schemer secretly orchestrating everything.

"I've long since given up on this world... There's no turning back. Still, I don't regret meeting you all."

After finally graduating with honors, Cang Yu returned to his original world.

But somehow, it seemed the world had gotten the wrong idea about him?

[Waaah, how can there be such a wonderful upperclassman! He's so handsome my legs won't close QAQ But then he graduated and left. That's not right!]

[He'd give his life to protect the world's best, most foolish little brother... How can this be! We agreed to stay together forever!]

[Are my tears worthless? You old villain, give me back my dear Cang Yu! How can the five-person police academy squad be missing its traditional sixth member, ]

"..." Oh no. Looks like I got carried away and let myself go a little too far.

[Sorry, your performance was so outstanding that you'll have to go back again.]

Cang Yu: ?

[At the readers' strong insistence, you, their beloved departed first love, have to come back to life and be redeemed to make the story make sense.]

Cang Yu: ??

So here's the question:

How can he plausibly come back from the dead without getting beaten up by everyone who feels they owe him a debt?
