The Insect Queen never deliberately played for sympathy. But the men and women whose hearts she'd captured all independently decided to build her a home and shelter her from the elements before humanity could drive her out.

Then one day, everyone gathered on her asteroid. Surrounded by millions of insectoids, humanity's strongest fighters stared at one another in disbelief.

Shen Yushu: Thanks for asking. I used to wake up every day thinking about heading to the docks to pick up some handsome men and beautiful women. Now that I've finally raised the asteroid, I can enjoy the good life. Yesterday, the asteroid's thirteen districts, six hundred million insectoid men and women, and seven hundred thousand humans all celebrated my twentieth birthday. There are still fireworks going off outside. Pretty nice.

1. The story is 70% plot and 30% romance. The heroine's golden finger is fully powered up. Several characters have one-sided crushes on her, and there is an officially promoted couple at the end.

Second insectoid story: "Why Did the Nonhuman Twins Suddenly Fall Out?" / "Is Your Insect Mother Simulator Even Legit?"

The insect kings are about to die before they hatch.

An insect discovers that when Fu Lu works on civil service exam questions, she gives off a special wavelength that causes the insect king eggs to show signs of developing again!

The insectoids treat her with respect, regard her as the insect king's adoptive mother from another species, and promise her many benefits.

So Fu Lu takes the only civil-service job left on Earth after its fall and begins her career as a public servant caring for two larvae.

The problem with twins is that they want everything to be the same.

When they grow up, they're even more troublesome.

- They want to be different from each other.

With her, they have to compete over everything.

Fu Lu gets a little annoyed. "If you keep acting like this, don't regret it if something happens to your brother one day. Look at the neighbor."

The younger brother next door leans sadly into her arms and sobs:

"I'll never see my brother again..."

Fu Lu lovingly strokes the boy's broken insect wing and consoles him. "Good... good bugs go to heaven when they die."

That night, the younger brother next door writes only one line in his diary:

[I will go to hell]

After being ambushed by his younger brother, the older brother next door comes home and reads the diary. He smiles.

Then he adds a note:

[You coward]

[You'll never get to eat shit before I do.]

He thinks it over, crosses out "shit," and draws a lively deer instead.
