[Opening in November]
Yandere x little mute
-
Ning Shuqing is a beautiful little mute with a terminal illness. He lives alone in a manor, with nothing left in his life but the dull, monotonous wait for death.
Until one day, the System tells him that this world is an overpowered-hero comeback novel, and he's the most ordinary passerby in it.
The protagonist is currently fighting dogs for food, living the most miserable and impoverished life imaginable.
If Ning Shuqing follows the plot by taking the protagonist home and playing the role of his doomed first love, feeding and clothing him while humiliating him, then dying when the protagonist hates him most, the System will give him a new identity so he can keep living.
Sixteen-year-old Zong Tan is worried about tuition. When he borrows money, his neighbors mock him as a beggar. Ning Shuqing appears out of nowhere, has his bodyguards carry Zong Tan away, and Zong Tan stares at him like a wolf cub.
The System yells, [Time to humiliate the protagonist mercilessly!]
Ning Shuqing looks at the cool, silent boy and signs: I'll give you money if you carry me home.
Once they're home, the protagonist lowers his head, gently sniffing the fragrant hem of Ning Shuqing's clothes. The System keeps blaring alarms, urging Ning Shuqing to be more vicious and cruel.
Ning Shuqing: Y-you help me bathe.

And so the overpowered hero becomes Ning Shuqing's little follower.
He won't let Zong Tan take any more underpaid part-time jobs, eat convenience-store rice balls, or wear cheap clothes.
He even forces the possibly straight Zong Tan to be his boyfriend.
Since Ning Shuqing can't speak, his bodyguards have to relay his lines. Though his words lose a little force in the process, they work surprisingly well.
He often wakes to find Zong Tan staring at him throughout the night.
The boy looks like he really wants to kill him while his guard is down.
At last, the plot reaches the critical stage when the protagonist is about to study abroad and become an all-powerful big shot. Ning Shuqing humiliates Zong Tan one final time.
Then he falls into the sea right in front of him, leaving no body behind.
-
Ning Shuqing hears news of Zong Tan again after he has spent some time living in a new world.
The once impoverished boy, who was at everyone's beck and call, now stands at the top of society, a figure everyone fears. He's cold and ruthless, violently tyrannical. Even the first, second, and third marriage candidates chosen by the prominent families all die suddenly.
The world collapses, and Ning Shuqing has no choice but to return immediately.
When he transmigrates back, Ning Shuqing is chosen as a replacement bride for the protagonist because he resembles the legendary first love.
On their wedding day, mourning banners hang high, and the whole villa is decorated as if it were his mourning hall. Zong Tan smiles faintly. "Baby, the Daoist was right. If I bleed you for forty-nine days, I'll get to see you once more."
"After tonight, I'll come down and join you."
Ning Shuqing: "Wait! Don't die yet."

Reading guide:
1. Elegant, refined, rich-boy cat bottom x formerly poor and down-and-out, later darkened mad-dog top
2. A romance about a couple in love, each other's first love. They transmigrate bodily, not as souls. The love interest is mute in the early chapters but can speak after transmigrating back. The protagonist didn't kill the marriage candidates: they died before the weddings.
3. An elite academy setting that's not very aristocratic at first, but extremely rich-family. The overall tone is light and sweet.
