Making Movies in a Cultural Desert

The entire galaxy knows that Earth is a cultural wasteland.

No literature, no music, no movies, no entertainment.

A bunch of bumpkins without even a history of their own!

When the first Earth movie appeared, the culturally superior aliens scoffed at it.

These illiterate Earthlings can make movies? This should be amusing. Let me take a critical look.

But once they started watching... they found a problem.

Why was it so addictive?

Before the aliens could react, one excellent movie, TV series, novel, comic, and game after another came pouring out. The endless stream of sights and sounds left them dazzled, and they sank completely into Earth's cultural exports.

Before anyone knew it, Earth had established an unshakable entertainment empire, continuously exporting its creations.

No one could escape the irresistible tide of Earth culture.

Chu Baiyu never imagined the future could be so dull.

Earth's rulers were obsessed with religion, and under God's will, pleasure had become a sin.

Theater was forbidden, drinking was forbidden, fine food was forbidden, games were forbidden, singing was forbidden... Under extreme religious dogma, all forms of entertainment were banned.

Earth's people gradually forgot their ancestors' history and lost the splendid civilization they once had.

Even though technology had entered the interstellar age, humanity's spiritual civilization was woefully impoverished.

Fortunately, when he transmigrated, the harsh religious regime had just been overthrown, and everything on Earth was waiting to be rebuilt.

Chu Baiyu, who had won the Outstanding Young Director Award multiple times, took up the banner of cultural revival without hesitation.

He would start from scratch and bring Earth's culture to the entire universe.
