A Guide to a Police Dog's Second Career

Zhuang Nuo was a police dog, and he had always been troubled by one thing: he thought he ought to be human, and his master ought to be the dog.

During a mission, he sacrificed himself to save his master. When he opened his eyes again, he had really become human.

The first thing Zhuang Nuo did after becoming human was go back to find his master, only to learn that his master had retired because his injuries had left him with lasting complications.

Zhuang Nuo thought: This is bad. Master was already a dog, and now he might be useless too. If I don't take care of him, nobody will.

Ever since Wen Yue returned home, his personality had changed completely. His moods swung wildly, and he was irritable and quick to anger. Nobody dared get close to him.

No one knew that every night, when he woke from his dreams, Wen Yue thought of Zhuang Nuo, the dog who had been by his side for nearly ten years. The pain and guilt kept him awake all night.

Until one day, a young man appeared.

The boy's eyes were bright and shining as he looked at him. For a moment, Wen Yue thought he was looking at Zhuang Nuo.

A young man named Zhuang Nuo suddenly appeared at Wen Yue's side.

Zhuang Nuo had delicate features and thin arms and legs. He looked as fragile as a porcelain doll.

He seemed like someone anyone could bully.

Until Zhuang Nuo easily beat the other bodyguards to the ground, while the irritable young master Wen Yue carefully wiped his hands without a trace of disgust, crouched to brush the dirt from his trouser legs, and gently scolded him: "Don't your paws hurt?"

The bodyguards: "..."

Because we're the ones who hurt!
