[Detective Conan] Even Magical Girls Want to Fall in Love

Ma Jiu is a poor magical girl who works several jobs to make ends meet.

Just after she finished switching shifts with her fellow part-timer, Mr. Amuro, she received a text from Rum.

Rum told her to go support Bourbon on a mission that night.

She went.

The two mascots of the bar both had their covers blown.

Right after that, she accidentally used magic in front of Bourbon.

Bourbon: ...Huh?

Bourbon had never imagined that his female coworker, who was always smiling and covering shifts for him, was also a member of the organization.

He thought Ma Jiu had been assigned to keep an eye on him.

Then he witnessed the magical-girl version of [turning on a dime].

Bourbon: Reporting in. I'm undercover in the organization, everything's going smoothly, and I've even unlocked the magical world. No problems, except I've suddenly swapped bodies with a real-liquor witch and have to put a lot of effort into hiding it.

Bourbon: By the way... do we have a special classroom that can help us switch back?

At first, he thought the road to completing his undercover mission would be long, and that the organization would be even harder to take down with a witch helping them.

But later, he realized the liquor at the distillery was pretty diluted...

Bourbon (frowning): What kind of liquor is Ma Jiu?

Ma Jiu: The "ma" in "magical girl," of course.

*Includes a body-swap element.

Toru Amuro was deeply puzzled. Why do magical girls get period cramps, too?

*The Police Academy squad saves four out of three. Sorry, Kenji Hagiwara.

*Every plot point serves the romance.

*Breaks up canon couples (including, but not limited to, ShinRan and KaiAo). If you ship the canon couples, please don't read.

*1v1, no love triangle. Breaking up canon couples means exactly what it says: the canon couples are portrayed as friends.

*Includes some magical worldbuilding from "Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle" and "Cardcaptor Sakura." You don't need to have read them. It also incorporates the world of "Magic Kaito," since Detective Conan has no magic, only Conan-ology.
