While having afternoon tea with her best friend, Gu Banman spotted a very handsome young man.

He wore a basketball jersey, with exquisite features and sharply defined features.

Even through the glass, his youthful energy was palpable.

Her friend teased her, "That young guy outside has been looking at you for over ten minutes."

Gu Banman took a sip of coffee and raised an eyebrow. "I'm not interested in boys who still look like kids."

Two months later.

Gu Banman was walking through a mall with the very boy she'd called too young.

They ran into her best friends.

After their eyes met, the most irrepressible one blurted out first, "Gu Banman, you absolute predator!"

Gu Banman patted the young man's head. "Stay right here and wait for me, okay?"

Then she pulled her friends aside.

Friend A: Two months ago, you told us your new secretary seemed interesting and you wanted to flirt with him.

Gu Banman: That's him.

Friend B: Last month, you told us you'd met a man you felt you couldn't handle.

Gu Banman: Also him.

Friend C: Yesterday, you told us you'd actually been bitten in bed.

Gu Banman: Still him.

The three of them peered past Gu Banman at Yun Jiaxing, standing a short distance behind her.

Well-behaved.

Refined.

The very picture of a sweet puppy.

He didn't match her description at all.

Yun Jiaxing firmly believed that a single spark could start a prairie fire.

But first, that spark had to be able to reach the boundless prairie.
