The Fifth Spring

In the fifth year of Cheng Xiyue and Hang Beijia's relationship, they make a New Year's wish.

All she wants is for every year to be like this one, with Hang Beijia by her side for the rest of her life.

Sadly, Heaven shows her no mercy.

That spring, Hang Beijia's "moonlight of his heart" returns.

At her first appearance, the woman wears a perfectly tailored qipao, with a slender waist and cloudlike hair, radiating irresistible charm.

Hang Beijia never looks at Cheng Xiyue again.

That year, the Hang family home catches fire.

The kidnappers ask, "Only one of them can live. Who do you choose?"

Over the loudspeaker, Hang Beijia's voice is calm and clear. Without hesitation, he says the name of his beloved.

Cheng Xiyue thinks that lovers should be together. She should give Hang Beijia back to the woman he loves.
