Lured into a Trap [GB]

[The Highest Prison Observation Log [GB] is now underway! Please add it to your favorites! Lots of chapters already written! A brave and resourceful heroine × a gloomy, devoted hero] A bold, untamed guide × a powerful, rule-abiding sentinel, a distant beauty [GB] Since guides and sentinels first appeared, there have never been any plant spirit companions. Twelve-year-old Ye Jin awakened on a rainy night. Vines wrapped around her frail body, forming a cocoon, until the patrol found her. Ye Jin was a guide, and her spirit companion was a purple pitcher plant with sakura leaves, the first mutated plant spirit companion. Living on government relief, Ye Jin grew up in a welfare home. At eighteen, she was admitted to the prestigious Imperial Capital Franch First Military Academy under special consideration. The first requirement for students admitted on exceptional merit was to undergo genetic testing from the upper-class gene pool every month. When the other cadets heard that the incoming freshmen included someone with a plant spirit companion, they laughed their heads off! “A lousy weed got into First Military Academy? It’ll be torn to shreds before it even gets a chance to attack!” “I’m dying! What threat could a plant possibly pose? She looks so weak I could pick her up with one hand.” Ye Jin had been hearing things like this ever since she awakened. But what the people outside didn’t know was this: if the people who had bullied Ye Jin heard those words, they would surely tremble and weep as they said, “You’ll pay for what you just said! I swear it in the name of Franch!” Ye Jin showed off her remarkable strength as soon as she arrived at school. Looking at the sentinels she’d just beaten, she stepped onto a nearby flower bed, bent down to survey them, and smiled. “Anyone else still think I’m no match for them? I’m happy to oblige.” “Ye Jin. Fighting and disorderly conduct. According to school rules, you are to be confined for five days. Carry it out immediately!” The legendary head of discipline, Fang Zhiyu, a meticulous, aloof, powerful triple-S sentinel, took Ye Jin away with a mental lock. Three months later, Ye Jin was stopped by Fang Zhiyu, now in his capacity as head of discipline. “Uniform worn improperly. Five points deducted.” “Hair color violates regulations. Five points deducted.” “Late. Five points deducted.” Ye Jin looked at his cold, handsome face and burst into a grin. She leaned closer and whispered, “Senior, are you keeping an especially close eye on me?” Watching his ears turn redder and redder, Ye Jin’s smile widened. “Can’t you let me off the hook just this once? You were begging me for mercy yesterday, weren’t you, little A-Yu?” Reader’s guide: 1. Guide-and-sentinel story, female guide and male sentinel. 2. GB pairing. 3.
