Industry insiders say that Shu Yi and Zhou Yeqing, popular members of the hugely popular five-member girl group Anoxia, don't get along and frequently clash.

Their fellow group members had this to say: It's all true.

Shu Yi and Zhou Yeqing have been at odds ever since their debut survival show. Their popularity and abilities are evenly matched, and even their heights are about the same. Neither can get the upper hand.

Rumors spread across gossip accounts and anonymous forums, with some even claiming that the two had bullied each other within the group.

Their manager finally had enough. With a wave of the hand, they ordered the pair to act like a couple for publicity, dubbing the ship "Yi Qing Er Bai."

Their individual fans: Thoroughly disgusted.

Group fans: They don't know each other well, but they look good together.

Casual multishippers: They look good enough that we can sort of ship them.

The CP fans who'd been quietly lurking finally got a big scoop and came out of hiding, shouting: This is exactly the kind of forced romance you can't help falling for! The harder you force it, the sweeter it gets!

They thought this would be a failed publicity stunt, but before long, the pair had become one of the entertainment industry's top-tier star CPs.

During a livestream with their bandmates, fans heard Shu Yi call from outside the room: "You brought them candy but not me. Have your feelings for me faded?"

The gentle main vocalist coaxed her: "You don't like sweets. I bought you lemon candy separately."

During a variety show activity, Zhou Yeqing accidentally fell. Shu Yi rushed over and swept her up in a princess carry, her eyes turning red.

Onstage at a concert, the two interacted, danced close together, and exchanged flirtatious looks. GIFs of them shot up the hot search charts four times in a row, and their popularity spread overseas.

Their bandmates couldn't help asking: "How did your publicity stunt work so well?"

Shu Yi bit into the candy Zhou Yeqing had bought for her and gave her bandmate a puzzled look. "Who told you this was a publicity stunt? We're the real deal."

Bandmate: ...

The Yi Qing Er Bai CP fans have this to say: Sigh, it's no fun. The way they were when they barely knew each other was the most fun to ship.

Passersby: Stop acting crazy here.
