Rongrong, who grew up in an orphanage, was taken in by his birth father at the age of four.
But Rongrong knew that his whole family were villains in a book.
His father was a vicious movie star, and his sickly uncle was sinister and brooding.
His eldest brother was an obsessive madman, while his second brother was unruly and violent. Not only did Rongrong have to join his villainous family on a variety show for kids, he was also a universally disliked little villain, the negative foil to the show’s child protagonist. Adults looked down on him, and the other children wouldn’t play with him. He was destined to spend his whole life in the shadows.
They said the protagonist he was meant to be compared to was a child prodigy skilled in everything, a genuine little menace as a kid who would grow up to rule the world with an iron fist or, at worst, destroy it!
Rongrong was so heartbroken he could barely breathe!
There was no way he could beat an opponent like that!
Before the show aired, viewers were already predicting disaster: “It’s hard to imagine what kind of good kid a family like this could raise. I can’t wait to see them get face-slapped and embarrass themselves.”
But as soon as the show aired, viewers were instantly smitten with Rongrong, a sweet-voiced, delicate, and adorable little cutie. They burst out of their graves in a fury: “Sorry, but being cute means you can get away with anything!!”
Later, Rongrong became the precious darling his villainous family held in the palms of their hands. His family even fought over who would get to take him on the next variety-show trip!
Movie-star father: “Spending time with Rongrong is my actual job.”
Richest uncle: “I can buy anything for Rongrong.”
Genius older brother: “Rongrong said he wants to be with his clever big brother.”
School bully older brother: “No one dares bully Rongrong while I’m around.”
And that wasn’t all. The other guests couldn’t get enough of Rongrong, either.
“Rongrong, Uncle made your favorite fish soup today. Come have some!”
“Rongrong, come play with us. Big Sis will protect you.”
“Rongrong, can you be on my team for this task?”
Later on, Rongrong got kissed by the protagonist’s older brother.
The villainous family: “?”
#Yep, I kissed him. I’m just that bold!

A little promotion for an upcoming novel in my collection:
A Pretty Boy Takes the Tyrant’s Baby on a Variety Show
Wen Zhuling is a top-tier star, handsome and talented, with hardly a single flaw anyone can criticize.
But one day, a little kid clung to him and called him “Papa.”
#WenZhulingHadAChildOutOfWedlock quickly became a trending scandal.
His company scrambled to manage the crisis and sent the two of them to the countryside to film a variety show for kids overnight.

Suixing was the heir to the empire. His stepfather, Wen Zhuling, was gentle as jade, and his father was a brave warrior. Sadly, his stepfather died a tragic death, and hatred overshadowed Suixing’s life. He became a tyrant and died in a rebellion.
When he opened his eyes again, four-year-old Suixing was in a strange world, face-to-face with the stepfather who had died young.
Except this stepfather wasn’t gentle or dependable. He was ridiculously laid-back.
But that was fine. Suixing could be the dependable one.
So the viewers who had been waiting for a laugh got to see this:
Other families:
“Wait for it to cool down before you eat, sweetie.”
“Daddy saved the best bits just for you.”
“You did such a great job, sweetie.”
Wen Zhuling:
“Help me check if this corn is too hot, kiddo.”
“Fried skewers and barbecue? They’re no good. You don’t like them, so I’ll eat all the bad stuff.”
“Wah, kiddo, help me out with these vegetables.”
“Please, one last time, help Dad get an autograph!!”
And that seemingly delicate little kid:
A prodigy skilled in everything
Could go anywhere, even to the heavens, without batting an eye
And a super-protective daddy’s boy!
Viewers: So cute, so precious... Wait, wasn’t I here to hate on him?

Before leaving the group, Wen Zhuling and the captain, Sheng Jingye, rarely interacted or appeared together, so everyone said they didn’t get along. Wen Zhuling thought so too.
That was until Suixing grabbed Sheng Jingye and said he was his father.
Viewers were furious: “You already left the group, Wen Zhuling. Stop forcing your way into the spotlight!”
But later, someone saw Sheng Jingye pin Wen Zhuling into a corner and hold him close. The naturally commanding man spoke in a voice that sounded almost pitiful: “Can you please stop avoiding me?”
Viewers: “? Weren’t they supposed to hate each other?”
The CP fans, on the verge of death, jolted upright: “Even my Arctic Circle ship can get back together?!”

I really like this book. When will my wife come back? Orz
Teacher, what we are saying is that you can introduce some people a little bit in the future and then lead them out, otherwise sometimes you will really doubt your own IQ [crying]
It's pretty cool, why isn't it updated?
Why don't you update it again (??)
It's so good. Will the author update it soon?
