Shi Buze is a seven-thousand-year-old Baize who has wandered the continent of Teyvat ever since his birth. After all his hard work, he finally got to enjoy a happy life with a wife and children. Alas, the moon waxes and wanes. His divine office as a Baize meant that when a Descender arrived, he accidentally came into contact with Forbidden Knowledge. This Forbidden Knowledge doesn't harm him personally, but it can corrupt all of Teyvat. With no other choice, he asked Greater Lord Rukkhadevata to erase his existence from Irminsul. He thought his extraordinary life would end there, but unexpectedly, he returned once more to the place where he was born: this world.
The consciousness of this world asks him to do it a favor, promising in return to send him back to Teyvat, where the Forbidden Knowledge he carries won't affect Teyvat again.
Shi Buze: I'm tempted.
And so he sets out on a one-way journey to save the world.
Shi Buze: I acted too hastily...
"This world": You still have a long way to go before you can beat me.
