Tips:
1. The story was inspired by the song One Last Kiss by Hikaru Utada. It quotes several French lyrics, with translations taken from Kugou Music.
2. The author has not watched EVA yet, and understands the song only through the literal meaning of its lyrics.
3. This was written during the Sumeru era. In this version, the nations of Teyvat have different languages and writing systems. Fontaine is comparable to modern France. Real-life names, places, and paintings are mentioned directly, and I hope it won't feel too jarring [bows deeply].
4. "Wind traveler" and "thunder ronin" are concepts invented for this story.
