It All Began With Me and Qi Shen Playing a Game Across the Myriad Worlds

Li Jiye wakes up and is stunned to discover that a superpowered person has brought him back to life.

After hesitating for a few seconds, he attacks. Their strength is evenly matched. Li Jiye is both in awe and confused. Kusuo Saiki is so strong, yet he looks panicked.

"Who are you?"

[I have a superpower that can counter your acting!] Saiki confidently explains, unmoved by Li Jiye's performance.

"..."

Your superpower counters Li Longzhao. What does that have to do with me, Li Jiye? Hah, you idiot!

After gathering the world's scattered, resistant nodes and healing the damage caused by the imbalance in his soul, Li Jiye establishes a shrine. He enshrines the river god of Hupo River, Yato from Noragami, and Nuwa, the mother of humanity, and erases the fate that pursued him.

"You're underage." Li Jiye turns him down. He has no interest in hiring some high schooler obsessed with coffee jelly.

[I want to apply. Temporary shrine supervisor. Meals and lodging included, daily wage of 30,000 yen!]

"...Not interested." He's no Reigen Arataka. He doesn't need a psychic student as a temporary worker!

[You do.]

Chito and Yuuri tilt their heads, silently watching the two of them banter about their co-op game.

Could you two pay attention to the zombies in our courtyard? It's moving!

Saiki Kusuo calmly tells the girls not to worry. Sun-drying zombies is standard practice.

Mainly set in the Saiki Kusuo no Psi-nan universe, with appearances from Spirited Away, Noragami, My Date with a Vampire, Soul Ferry, Uncle Jiu's Zombie series, Nirvana in Fire, The King's Avatar, Overlord, and others. The timeline jumps around, and some details are author-created.

The prequel, starting with my story with Fan Xian in the Detective Dee universe, is complete.

Main pairing is male/male, but I'll decide on the couple later. I may not even decide by the end of the story.

This is a fanfic continuation, so don't expect it to follow the original. The characters will definitely be OOC.
