My gemstone was taken away.
Song Xiyu is getting married.
The year Xu Qin turned sixteen
was both tender and cruel, the year that defined the first half of her life.
Her mother passed away, and Song Xiyu took her in at Guancui Garden.
Xu Qin studied as hard as she could to repay her.
But when Xu Qin handed Song Xiyu her report card,
Song Xiyu was cold and distant. She paced around the room like a spinning top, the clatter of furniture pounding in Xu Qin's heart. Song Xiyu said, "Xu Qin, I'm getting married tomorrow. Come back and pack your things."
Xu Qin was stunned, rooted to the spot as if nailed there.
Right. Xu Qin had almost forgotten. She was just one of the students Song Xiyu sponsored. How could she claim Song Xiyu as her own, or expect her to remember anything?
Song Xiyu had only ever taken pity on her.
Xu Qin could only force a smile. "Congratulations."
2.
When they meet again, Song Xiyu is caught in a divorce scandal and has been suspended from her work at the hospital. At the invitation of a friend six months earlier, she travels to the Medical University to attend an academic seminar.
After the conference, Song Xiyu walks across campus. Groups of people rush past her, and for a moment she feels dazed, swept along by the crowd.
Deafening heavy metal music blares. Onstage, someone spins around, hair streaked with color, an electric guitar in her arms, one leg bouncing, her face lit with one defiant smile after another.
The singing is bold, the applause thunderous.
Passion, youth, exhilaration.
"Ah, Xu Qin." Her friend clicks her tongue, looking exasperated. "The student who got disciplined."
Xu Qin? That sweet, well-behaved child?
Song Xiyu sees Xu Qin sitting on the back of a motorcycle with a group of rough young men late at night. After giving Song Xiyu a strange, distant, disdainful look, she disappears down the street.
Song Xiyu's brows knit tightly. She doesn't know what happened.
So Song Xiyu becomes a substitute teacher at the Medical University. As she gradually uncovers the reason for Xu Qin's disciplinary action, she discovers a different side of her and finally realizes what she has lost.
3.
Xu Qin doesn't want to be good anymore.
She doesn't want to live so cautiously anymore.
Song Xiyu says the heart is the most beautiful gemstone in the human body.
Song Xiyu says, "My heart belongs to you."
Cardiac surgeon x medical student
Gentle and restrained x sensitive and rebellious
"I've always followed in your footsteps."

CEO x award-winning actress
Patiently biding her time, putting profit first x clear-headed, driven, and talented
The young heiress Ni Ruxi enters the entertainment industry, but remains unknown for a year.
One day, the Ni family is suddenly hit by a crisis. Ni Ruxi runs around trying to find help, only to be turned away again and again.
In the midst of a blizzard, Song Yutang leaves Ni Ruxi waiting for four hours, then tosses aside the proposal in boredom, her eyes cold. "Miss Ni, you have no standing to bargain with me based on this."
Ni Ruxi loses completely. She doesn't blame Song Yutang for being overbearing. She's simply too weak.
On the day of the blizzard, Song Yutang stops her car across the street. Through the window, she sees Ni Ruxi's eyes reddened with dejection after the setback. But soon, thanks to an umbrella offered by a stranger, Ni Ruxi smiles again.
In truth, Song Yutang has liked Ni Ruxi for a long time. But her feelings have existed only in her own mind. Or perhaps she likes what she lacks, the life Ni Ruxi has: a wealthy family, the love of her family, friends who adore her, a pretty face, and elegant manners.
Later, Song Yutang gains those things through her own efforts. The girl she was when she was young, and the young Ni Ruxi, gradually drift apart and no longer matter to her.
Until they meet again.
Again and again, Ni Ruxi gets to know Song Yutang anew. She learns that Song Yutang is cold on the outside but warm at heart, and that she has been keeping an eye on the Ni family's troubles all along.
Song Yutang gives her an umbrella on a snowy night, and also an umbrella that teaches her how to grow strong and protect her family.
Find your own path in life.
Become a better version of yourself.
Love the people you want to love.
Much later, Ni Ruxi wins the Best Actress award at a film festival. After the clamor dies down on a snowy night, the fireplace burns warmly in the villa. Lying on Song Yutang's lap, Ni Ruxi suddenly asks with a touch of smugness, "So, Yutang, if we hadn't met again, would we still have had a future together?"
Song Yutang smiles knowingly and brushes a kiss over Ni Ruxi's red lips, murmuring gently, "Xiaoxi, I always thought I understood everything clearly, but maybe I don't. A youthful crush is like a seed. It takes root and sprouts during countless ordinary days and nights, growing until it can no longer be hidden. So we were always bound to meet again."
"If you don't come to see me, I'll go to you."
(The blurb is tentative and may undergo minor changes, but the overall direction will stay the same.)
Theme: Strive hard and build a brilliant life!
I have been following this book since it was first published. I hope that Da Da can insist on writing it down. I am looking forward to the story of Qinqin and Song Song.
First of all, I would like to thank the author for explaining that I was very angry when I saw that it was indeed because Xu Qin's immaturity caused her and Yin Lianyi to have unnecessary emotional entanglements. What I want to say is that it is indeed impossible to perfect a character, but that is also limited. For example, small flaws in a character's character caused by the environment in which the character lives are understandable. In the past, Xu Qin used other people's feelings to deliberately stimulate the people he liked. This behavior is no longer a problem of character flaws. I would say it harshly, it is a bit suspected of a character problem. And what the author said about Yin Lianyi's forced confession, what I also want to say is that it's not that I didn't see it, or that the author didn't see it because of his lack of writing skills, but I don't think there is such a thing as one-size-fits-all. If you do something to disgust me, that's a problem with your character. If I do another thing to disgust you, then it becomes that both you and I have a character problem, instead of us canceling each other out, we'll be fine. I hope the author can understand what I mean. Finally, I would like to say that I like the characters of Xu Qin and Song Xiyu very much. I did think that the previous parts were well written, which is why I like these characters so much, but I can't accept this plot. I hope the author can write better and better.
From a third perspective, it seems that no matter before or now, Xu Qin seems to be the one who takes the initiative, but Song Xiyu actually pays a lot silently. It's just that Song Zhen has lower self-esteem than he imagined, especially when facing Xu Qin. The concerns about age difference and social experience are quite real... But but! They two should make it clear quickly, hello, me, hello everyone (face covering)
Touch Ripples happy puppy head
Because I love you so much, even if the person I love doesn't love me in the end, I still want him to be happy.
Because I love you so much, even if the person I love doesn't love me in the end, I still want him to be happy.
Xu Qin is actually quite sober... A person who always knows what she wants.
In the new year, Qinqin and Miss Xiyu bravely rush forward!!! Come and kowtow together, everyone. Wenwen is so beautiful~
Happy New Year! Come on, I really like this article!
Finally going both ways! Sprinkle flowers~
