One of them is Li Syaoran's distant relative from the Chinese mainland, Li Qingtong. The Li family, Clow's maternal relatives, moved to Hong Kong years ago, leaving a small branch of the family on the mainland to carry on the legacy of the Guardian Deities. This legacy consumes an extraordinary amount of magical power. Li Qingtong's eyesight began to fail when she was six, and now all she can see are blurry shapes and the deathly aura surrounding people who are about to die an unnatural death. Without a master to replenish her magic, she can restore it by touching people and consuming their deathly aura.
