The Monster Exorcist Gets Hounded from Both Sides Every Day

[About 100,000 words in total. Coming to an end soon.]

There are two kinds of energy in this world: "spiritual energy" and "resentment." Where resentment gathers, resentment monsters appear.

Exorcists are specialists who banish these resentment monsters.

Luo Cuo, a brilliant exorcist, now fears two people more than anyone.

One is Cenci, an evil god who kidnapped him for no reason three years ago. Luo Cuo just killed Cenci, but Cenci came back to life and is currently chasing after him.

The other is Diao Shang, his former partner, who called him a sworn brother three years ago. Luo Cuo just beat him up, but Diao Shang hasn't left and is now clinging to him every chance he gets.

Cenci: "Heh. I've been so good to you. Why did you betray me?!"

Diao Shang: "Waaah, I just came to find you! You can hit me and yell at me, but don't abandon me!"

And just as Luo Cuo's barrier comes down, greedy, corrupted resentment fiends and eerie, uncanny resentment-cursed monsters start crawling out all around him.

Luo Cuo thinks he might not make it out alive.

1. Luo Cuo is a [calm, morally gray recipient], while Diao Shang is a [younger, devoted, scheming attacker]. Cenci is an evil god on an entirely different level, and he's here to cause trouble.

2. The world setting can be loosely compared to Jujutsu Kaisen (similar genre, just making a cheeky comparison).

Theme: To build a new life, we must work hard and strive forward.
