When the Cannon Fodder Meets the Love-Brained Female Supporting Character

Going premium on the 25th, with extra chapters (/▽\)

Jiang Nan was living a very happy life in the modern world, but for some unknown reason, she suddenly transmigrated into a novel she'd once disliked, becoming the male lead's cousin.

The moment she woke up, she ran into Xiao Ran, the female side character who would ingratiate herself with the male lead, cling to him relentlessly, and ultimately bring about the Xiao family's ruin. By all rights, as the male lead's cousin, with no connection to the female side character whatsoever, Jiang Nan had no reason to get involved with Xiao Ran or the Xiao family.

However...

System: You have a new mission. Please accept it: help the Xiao family overcome its crisis, and you can return to your own world.

To get home, Jiang Nan had no choice but to agree.

Wasn't the Xiao family's crisis caused by Xiao Ran's lovesick obsession with the male lead and her relentless pursuit of him?

All she had to do was deal with Xiao Ran.

From then on, Jiang Nan stopped Xiao Ran from seeking out the male lead every day, playing the part of a wicked side character and making life difficult for her at every turn.

Jiang Nan bullied her.

Jiang Nan knocked over all the food she'd brought.

Jiang Nan exaggerated things to scare her silly.

Bystanders and the Jiang family: Jiang Nan, that's enough. She's just a delicate young woman.

Xiao Ran only smiled. "Sister Jiang Nan, you can bully me all you want."

Jiang Nan: Something's not right.

All Xiao Ran saw was Jiang Nan fixing her kite, making brown sugar tea for her during her period, and telling her not to be weak or let others bully her... To Xiao Ran, Jiang Nan was the best person in the world.

Who needs men? Big Sister is the best.

Theme: Women should be independent and self-reliant.
