The Road Goes Ever On

The next generation of hidden-sect disciples, all searching for the legendary "War God Heaven," have begun descending the mountain. While investigating the massacre in Youzhou Prefecture, Sang Jibai pursues the killer for thousands of miles and accidentally saves Xiang Guifeng, the sole surviving young general of the Xiang family in Sizhou. In return, Xiang Guifeng agrees to help him find the killer, but they stumble upon a vast conspiracy in Shuzhou.

After learning of the conspiracy in Shuzhou, Sang Jibai rushes to Luzhou to join Chu Baixi and the others. But after he leaves, Shuzhou advances north while the northern frontier moves south, leaving Sizhou besieged on both sides.

At the same time, demons from the Sea of No Return suddenly come ashore in Youzhou. A cataclysm unseen for ten thousand years is upon them.
