God of Figure Skating

At thirteen, Fu Yunian was considered a ballet prodigy by everyone. She had taken the stage at the National Theatre and, just as she had hoped, won an international ballet gold medal.

Then she said she wanted to take up figure skating.

Starting figure skating at nine was already considered late, let alone at thirteen.

What's more, Russian women dominated figure skating, with new stars emerging from Europe, America, and Japan. The field was so dazzling there was no room for her to claim a spot.

Everyone thought she was crazy and waited for her to make a fool of herself.

And yet, six months later...

All clean, a triple Lutz-triple toe loop combination.

Her figure spun across the ice, free and light. The hem of her ice-blue skating dress left behind only a blur, dazzling the entire arena.

The crowd held its breath. Only the commentator's excited voice could be heard.
