After Joining a Parenting Variety Show with My Love Rival's Kid

After getting drunk and sleeping with his archenemy and love rival, Pei Xi ran away with a baby on the way. A few years later, so his son Pei Bao could go to school, he took the kid along to appear on a farming variety show about raising children.

The night before they arrived at the production site, he was patting Pei Bao's back to lull him to sleep when he suddenly heard his son's thoughts.

[Dad Lu is coming to the show tomorrow, too. Our family of three is finally going to be reunited.]

[Waaah, if Dad Lu, that tsundere, had just admitted he had a crush on Daddy sooner, they wouldn't have been apart for so long.]

[I hope Daddy and Dad Lu clear up their misunderstanding and get together soon.]

Pei Xi: ...His mind was in chaos.

He had kept the truth about the kid's parentage tightly hidden all these years. How did his son know?

What? His archenemy and love rival actually had a crush on him!

Pei Xi's pupils widened in shock. Absolutely! Im! Possible!

Everyone knew that he and Pei Xi were supposedly archenemies and love rivals, so when Pei Xi left the industry and disappeared, everyone assumed Lu Chenke would be delighted.

But nobody knew how miserable Lu Chenke had been during those years without any news of Pei Xi. He spent countless nights waking up sleepless, staring at the pitch-black window, his heart full of longing he couldn't express.

Fortunately, Pei Xi had come back now. He had brought a child with him, but Pei Xi said the kid's biological father had died long ago, and Lu Chenke was more than happy to be a stepfather.

Until one day, he heard Pei Bao's thoughts.

What? Pei Xi and I already have a child!

Oh, so I'm the kid's father who supposedly died long ago!
