I Became an NPC in a Starfaring Dating Sim

[If you're interested in my upcoming novels, She Keeps Feeling Sleepy [Infinite] and Hide-and-Seek at Noble Academy, head to my profile and bookmark them!] Born in the apocalypse, Qin Zhaozhao was raised in comfort under the protection of her ability-user parents. But as people in the base schemed against one another, life grew harder by the day. When disaster suddenly struck, her family fled in the chaos. During their escape, Qin Zhaozhao was chosen by a System from the sky to become a level-two NPC in an interstellar life-simulation game: the vegetable shop owner. Her status was only a little higher than that of the game's built-in program NPCs. To get out of her predicament, she had no choice but to bind herself to the System and begin a life split between the apocalypse and the game. But why hadn't the System told her that the vegetables in her shop were so fresh and vibrant that eating them could remove impurities from the body? And she could use the money from selling vegetables to trade for precious supplies unavailable in the apocalypse. While other NPCs were just tools in the game, Qin Zhaozhao used her NPC advantages to make bold moves. She grew healing vegetables, raised Five Elements fish and fire-breathing chickens, collected gifts from players, treated the city lord's illness... Qin Zhaozhao used her achievements in the game to build a safe haven in the apocalypse. This also attracted the covetous attention of ability users from all over. Before she could bring out her collection of advanced weapons, the sickly city lord from the game appeared, radiating authority, and swept away every threat. Baili Xuanqi: "I've come to take you home." Qin Zhaozhao: "Meow meow meow?" Theme: Stay positive, keep your feet on the ground, and protect your home
