The Sultry Queen

[A pursuit-after-regret story written early in my career. The heroine, scorned by her fiance, turns around and falls into the arms of his cousin!]

The first edition of The Sizzling Star was published in 2010!

A new edition is expected in 2020!

[Weibo: @Nan Ling] [Please favorite the author's page!]

1. Both leads are virgins, one-on-one romance, happy ending.

2. The heroine sleeps with him before falling in love, and she's a good-for-nothing at the piano. The hero is mixed-race and a violin prodigy.

3. The heroine has had a crush on her teacher for years. He's a classical music great who has also liked her for years, but things between them have always been ambiguous. Then the hero steals her away...

4. The heroine looks sweet and has unusual tastes. Her favorite show is the uncensored version of Spartacus (?﹃?)

5. The author has started the second book in the classical music series, You Don't Understand His Heart. See its blurb for details. Spoiler: Shan Zexiu is the second male lead (?﹃?)

6. These spoilers only appear here. Let's see who spots them early, heh heh heh...

7. Already published.

8. I don't like the published title or cover at all. I've signed for a new edition, expected around 2019.

[Casual blurb]:

This is a story about an ordinary woman, a violin prodigy, and a classical music great.

My name is Shangguan Chu, and I have a job with a temperament to match my name ╮(╯▽╰)╭

I have a fiance everyone envies, but unfortunately he has a lot of girlfriends. They say he does it to drive away the girl who likes him, but really, I only went to his city for school because my college entrance exam score was too low...

I also have a teacher, a musical great living far away in Europe. He's very good to me, but he has no idea I've had a crush on him for years...

Then, this winter, I met a young mixed-race man, and that's where the story begins...

Disclaimer: This is actually a sweet story that's lighthearted, witty, and a little educational, with a strong classical music atmosphere...

All right, I admit I'm being ridiculous ╮(╯▽╰)╭

[Artistic blurb]:

I love that godlike man. Year after year, he remains ambiguous, and eventually I grow tired and turn away...
