Overnight, the world seems to change. Kenji Hagiwara, who had already died in the line of duty, clings to Matsuda and sobs. Officer Date, who was supposed to have died in a car accident, comes back to life. A police officer who infiltrated an organization miraculously survives... Wait, Shinichi Kudo, why have you shrunk? Miwako Sato falls into deep thought, while Officer Matsuda waves his sleeves and quietly takes all the credit. In a storage box full of precision tools, a few misplaced lipsticks occasionally turn up. On a dressing table covered in bottles and jars, scattered Gundam parts sometimes appear. A knowing glance shared while apprehending a criminal, a backward smile after successfully pranking someone, slippers placed together in the entryway, toothbrushes and face towels side by side, the curly-haired officer's sunglasses and good-luck charm, the policewoman's text messages and handcuffs. Cabin 72 of the Ferris wheel is no longer taboo. Years later, they'll laugh about it when they reminisce about their youth. When the smoke clears, white doves settle on the ruins, and their world will never again be shrouded in darkness. This is a save-everyone story. It respects and wishes the best for all Detective Conan characters. No bashing or putting anyone down. The dead in the original story are gone, and no matter what, we should look forward. Officer Takagi really is a wonderful person, and Miwako Sato deserves to be happy. Still, as someone outside that world, I can't quite let go of my regrets, so I'm trying to give an officer who can't come back a different ending from the original.
