The Walking Dead: The Fourth Calamity

I got too into The Walking Dead and made this. I've never written fic before, so it's probably going to be a terrible, cringe-inducing mess and wildly out of character.

(Title, summary, and protagonist's name are all tentative.)

A self-indulgent power fantasy (not that satisfying, either), no logic, probably no couples, with writing fit for a preschooler.

Potential triggers include a protagonist who acts like a lovesick puppy, a savior complex, overpowered abilities, lots of stand-ins at the beginning (very ky behavior), and actor jokes.

There may be a save-and-reload cheat, countless headcanons, and I'll probably blame them all on the game cheat.

The protagonist is 15, a female player who transmigrates into the game, has gender dysphoria, is not right in the head, has ADHD and a chuunibyou streak, and is obsessed with stand-ins (comics and anime) at first. She also has a savior complex.

Major revision in July 2025. I can't stand reading what I wrote before; it was so bad, though it's probably still bad now.

The Walking Dead universe has a very tidy timeline (compared to DC and Marvel), but I really don't want to sort it all out. It's too complicated. I just want to write a satisfying power fantasy and indulge my savior complex.

I specifically looked up whether a 15-year-old can get a driver's license in Georgia (where the Atlanta storyline takes place). Great, the protagonist can drive now. Zoe's become useful!
