[Bungo Stray Dogs] When You Lose Your Sight and Your Memory

On a sunny afternoon, a girl in a brilliant red robe, her face still a little childish, closes her eyes and quietly listens to the pitch-black world.

She furrows her brow slightly, her face filled with deep confusion.

Who am I?

Where is this place?

Her mind is an empty void, until a low voice sounds beside her.

"Are you all right?"

The girl lifts her head slightly and turns toward the voice.

"I'm Fukuzawa Yukichi, president of the Armed Detective Agency. Who are you?"

"I..."

She speaks softly.

"I don't know..."

I don't know my past, and I can't see my future.

I wish someone would become my family. Then maybe I wouldn't be lonely anymore.

So, could you become my family?

Shuangshuang really has amnesia. The story is mostly slice-of-life (?), with no romance. The main text uses second-person narration and includes original Lovecraftian creatures.

Theme: Searching for the past behind the past, within a fog of memories.
