Though he had lost something very important, he had also gained something precious.

The wonderful people in the tennis club, and the sport he loved.

He wanted to play tennis with those boys who loved the game.

He wanted to win three consecutive championships with them at Rikkai!

Here's a recommendation for my new story. I'll decide whether to write more based on how many people save it. This idea came to me out of the blue.

After Running Away from Home, I Took Up Tennis During My Rebellious Phase

As the title says, Tsuruta Shota successfully ran away from home and, with his uncle's help, secretly transferred to Rikkai. He became a second-year transfer student there.

During his rebellious phase, Tsuruta decided to join Rikkai's tennis club after a classmate enthusiastically recommended it. He did it to spite his older brother, who had always strongly opposed him joining a sports club.

From then on, Tsuruta's middle school life became a living hell.

But as time went on, the transfer student Tsuruta became more and more mysterious.

The vicious scars on his back, his strange stress responses, the mask and hat he never took off outside school, the empty house with no sign of life, and his absurdly unpredictable bouts of amnesia...

Tsuruta knew he had all sorts of strange problems, but he still tried to stay positive every day, except during club practice.

"I'm done for, guys." Tsuruta lay peacefully in an empty patch beside the tennis court, hands folded over his stomach, looking as if he had passed away in peace.

"Tsuruta!"

Even though school life was wonderful, Tsuruta was eventually caught after running away from home.

"Tsuruta, I've got you."

"Hahaha, long time no see, hahaha."
