Swimming Through the Moon

| It's good! Really, really good! Come read it! (Run for your life.jpg) | When Jiyue was eighteen, she was chosen to bring good fortune to Chen Yunzhi's adoptive father. The two agreed to elope, but she failed to keep her promise. After two years of widowhood in all but name, Jiyue saw Chen Yunzhi return to mourn at the family patriarch's funeral. He spoke with mocking sarcasm: [Auntie, please accept my condolences.] [Auntie, this is improper.] - Qi Ling was abandoned by his twin brother as a child. Betrayed again many years later, he killed his brother and returned to the Chen family for the funeral, taking on the identity of “Chen Yunzhi.” There, he met the woman his brother had once loved. He helped her deal with the villains who harbored bad intentions, took her riding across the world, and enticed her to lose herself in pleasure. He had only meant to ruin the moonlight in his brother's heart. He never expected to become a man swimming through the water, chasing a sliver of moonlight himself. Reader beware 1. The heroine is not a virgin, but the hero is. The heroine is two years older than the hero. 2. The hero is a jerk early on, but later becomes the heroine's dog. Characters' actions do not represent the author's values. 3. This was an impulsive double-writing project during my newbie phase. The dangerous setup went through many revisions, and some of the “stepmother” elements have been lost... In short, it's two words: ridiculously good (and awkward). Theme: Love is not possession or control
