A Disaster-Stricken Slacker's Lie Flat Stockpiling Routine

When Ruan Mi opened her eyes, she was back on the day before the disaster struck.

In her previous life, she had devoted herself to keeping her family safe. But when they tried to protect her younger brother, they locked her outside and left her to be swallowed by a swarm of insects.

She had barely managed to crawl out of the swarm when her boyfriend and best friend betrayed her. In the end, she died miserably in the disaster.

Only after being reborn did she learn that she was merely the clueless, vicious supporting female character in a disaster-themed romance novel.

While she was fighting for survival outside, her boyfriend and best friend were caught up in a sweet romance, with all their conflicts and grievances caused by her, the wrench in their works. So, apparently, she had brought her fate upon herself.

After learning the truth, Ruan Mi gave up and decided to live however she pleased.

Family, friends, lovers: all of you trash, get lost! No one was going to make a fool of her again.

Remembering how hard she had struggled to survive the apocalypse in her previous life, Ruan Mi simply chose to lie flat and wait to die. She was going to die either way, so she might as well eat, drink, have fun, and die in comfort.

Unexpectedly, the little house she'd worked so hard to buy underwent a strange transformation.

When the whole world was plunged into the darkness of disaster, only her room had water, electricity, and even Wi-Fi.

Her refrigerator restocked every 48 hours, with all the food and drinks exactly as they had been.

Her air conditioner worked even better than before the disaster, switching between extreme heat and cold at the touch of a button.

Her trash can was a bottomless abyss. Anything thrown in vanished automatically.

Her vegetable rack kept itself stocked with fresh produce.

So while everyone else in the world struggled in the darkness, Ruan Mi lounged in her rented apartment, eating fries, drinking cola, making soup, and binge-watching shows. Even her cats and dogs were glossy and well-fed.

Ruan Mi became a happy homebody who did nothing but lie flat.

One day, a man fought his way through thorny obstacles and stood, covered in blood, at Ruan Mi's door.

Peering through the peephole, Ruan Mi realized he was the major villain from the disaster romance novel: Huo Chuan, her former campus idol, who had spared no effort to avenge her after her death.

From then on, another happy loafer joined Ruan Mi in her little house, and they lay flat together.
