Warning: Little Brats Ahead

Everyone at court knew that Zhao Yi had become emperor despite being the late emperor's illegitimate daughter only because she was ruthless.

When she was five, Zhao Yi came down the mountain alone. With nothing but her bandit swagger, she took over the bandit den at the foot of the mountain and became its leader. No matter how many times Zhao Kuo tried, he couldn't persuade her to come back.

When she was ten, she was sent to Bailu Academy disguised as a boy. She gathered a whole gang of followers and threw the entire academy into chaos. Zhao Kuo lost count of how many times he had to clean up after her.

When she was fifteen, Zhao Kuo died. Zhao Yi went to the capital and, under the mocking eyes of everyone around her, bathed the entire city in blood, including her mother, who sat high upon the throne in the Forbidden City.

Zhao Kuo said she was born to rule. What ruler was not ruthless?

Back then, Zhao Yi didn't want to be any kind of emperor. All she could think about was how to make her bandit den bigger.

Later, she learned that the Forbidden City wasn't really any different from her bandit den.

P.S. Don't be fooled by the serious blurb. It's actually a story about a little bandit brat living off food and drink and stumbling into the throne, all under the protection of the biggest bandit chief in the world.
