Ye Qi died alongside the Zombie King.
Ten years into the apocalypse, food had completely disappeared, and Ye Qi couldn't take it anymore.
Who would have thought that, after a lifetime of bad luck, Ye Qi would hit the jackpot just before dying? Not only did he survive, he transmigrated and went from human to insect.
The Insect Empire had advanced technology and vast territory, yet food was strictly rationed!
With a life unexpectedly handed back to him, Ye Qi stopped caring about life or death and fought anyone who crossed him. He fled into the stars and became a space pirate operating in the gray areas, all for the sake of a good meal.
Years later...
When word spread that the Imperial Military had offered amnesty to the head of the Xing Sheng Pirate Group and awarded him the rank of colonel, the empire's insects were furious.
He robbed starships, harassed the military, and even kidnapped a male insect! This female insect was utterly vile!
But he had just made a great contribution on the battlefield, so they had to grit their teeth and accept it.
They thought this unruly space pirate would at least learn some restraint after joining the military.
Who could have guessed he'd carry on exactly as before?
On day one, he beat up a military female who mocked his genetic disease.
On day two, he sent a noble male prince to the hospital.
On day three...
The empire's insects jointly demanded that this lawless female insect be thrown in prison!
But on the day they filed their complaint, during the live ceremony where the group leader was to receive the rank of major general,
a crowd of powerful figures from the Male Insect Protection Association stormed the venue
and announced in front of everyone:
Ye Qi was a male insect!
The empire's insects: "???"
Weren't male insects supposed to be delicate, soft, and sensitive? This is ridiculous!
Noiser Yalman, the empire's youngest general and the only SSS-rank female insect in nearly a thousand years, was the ideal mate of countless male insects. He had a secret.
He had fallen in love with a female insect.
Even though that insect didn't love him, he still wanted to do everything in his power to keep him by his side.
He would spoil and protect him, cook delicious food for him, take him on trips through the stars, and give him everything he wanted, until he spoiled him so much he couldn't bear to leave!
The plan was going very smoothly.
That is, until the people from the Male Insect Protection Association said the female insect he liked was actually a male insect!
In the ensuing silence, Noiser heard the insect he loved ask him what a male insect was.
Noiser Yalman: "..."
Setting:

2. A universe shared by many species, but the insect race is the strongest.
