I Inherited My Ex-Husband's Slave

An arrogant, scheming empress x a fragile beauty of glass

Blurb:

After the century-long war, humanity became the masters of the continent. This was the best of times.

Ashilia was the imperial consort of the Holy Empire, but in name only. Her husband was obsessed with a lowly elven slave.

After staging a coup and having her husband hanged, the new empress's first act was to meet a wretched prisoner.

The prisoner was beautiful.

His silver hair spilled across the ground like a shattered river of stars. The battered elf raised his head, his emerald eyes full of pleading as he gazed at her.

"Your Highness, are you here to set me free?"

Ashilia gazed at him.

She smiled.

"Of course, darling. I'll free you from that madman."

And then, you'll become... my captive.
