Lin Nai was a name she had chosen for herself. Her original name was Lin Yiner, a name much like Zhaodi, and she really was a girl born to bring a younger brother.
She hadn't chosen the name Nai for any special reason. She just thought Nai Nai sounded like a heroine's name, someone who might be loved.
Fate had shown her some kindness, at least. It had given her a sharp mind, allowing her to escape her family, get into the best high school in the province, and see more of the world. It had also let her meet Zhou Jibai in the blazing summer: a racing driver who had already made a name for himself at a young age.
Nobody believed in them. Lin Nai herself felt the same way.
She was always preparing to leave, but Zhou Jibai kept catching up with her, time and time again.
