Originally titled The Glory of Sluwatton
The infamous legendary thief Lyle has been placed on the mages' wanted list because he became a servant of the Lord of Hell.
Branded against his will as "one of the candidates for the Demon King," the unfortunate thief is pursued by an endless stream of heroes and mage squads. At the same time, he has to watch out for the traps hidden in every deal with his devilish boss. He's well and truly caught between a rock and a hard place...
Oh, Goddess of the Night, if he ever got another chance, he would never set foot in that short-lived guy's tomb again!
This novel is also known as My Many Secret Identities, Which Really Need Explaining; A Thief Who Doesn't Want to Be the Dark Demon King Isn't a Good Hero; A Guide to Going Berserk with Rage; and To Escape the Battle Royale, I Built a Planar Traversal Machine.
The first demonic identity the protagonist is currently transforming into is a male succubus. Later, he'll transform into the races of all seven Lords of Hell, then become the great male Demon King of Hell. The protagonist has many professional secret identities and is both a genius and a hard worker. He'll pick up teammates along the way, some joining and others leaving midway. As he searches for a way to stop the transformations, he'll roam all over the world and travel between planes. It will have a slight road-trip feel, but the main plot is still a mystery, with the protagonist uncovering the mastermind behind everything.
As for the secret identities, during the male lead's ten years of wandering, he created both doubles and took on roles himself to meet the needs of his identity and profession. Since he's already a dark wizard, of course he'll dabble in alchemy! The secret identities won't take up much of the story. The male lead only brings one out and logs in under an alternate account when he needs to. Most of the time, he charges ahead with his main account.
About the first-person narration: I don't know why I ended up writing it this way, but I've already written so much that changing it would be such a hassle.???
This novel has no official couple. It's a solo male lead adventure with just a tiny bit of romantic description. The male lead isn't some heartless robot! Think of it as an old-school light novel and you'll get it!
Theme: A Dark Demon King who doesn't want to be a hero isn't a good thief!
You posted it to the wrong website, maybe, the adventure light novel was sent to jj (laughing and crying)
