Ye Shu is the Federation's most infamous little madwoman in the lawless zone.
Those who don't know her are fooled by her sweet, gentle appearance. Those who do know her have long since been cowed by her overwhelming strength.
She gets by just fine, until one day she wakes up and finds herself pulled into a game created by an evil god.
It is a world separate from reality, teeming with malice, lies, monsters, violence, and chaos. It's even worse than the place where she grew up.
Everyone around her is desperately trying to survive, but no one knows that Ye Shu simply can't die!
They hail the powerful, "gentle" Ye Shu as their last hope, unaware that people who grew up in District Thirteen are all a little crazy at heart. And Ye Shu is near the top of the list.
Facing a powerful monster, a teammate swallows nervously. "Let's fall back."
Ye Shu tilts her head. "What did you say?"
Teammate: "Fall back! I said fall back!"
Ye Shu smiles. "Sure."
Then she charges straight in.
When people realize the truth, they break down. They scheme with everything they have, hoping to use Ye Shu to destroy the evil god.
Yet the figure they both fear and revere has already taken up the blade that will save the world, all in secret.
A collection of totally unofficial dialogue snippets:
1.
A teasing, lazy voice: "I thought certain people said, 'Let them die for all I care.' Tsk. So why are you carrying that blade?"
Ye Shu replies gently, "To cut you down."
2.
A familiar, childish voice: "H-Hey! Wake up! ...Get up and protect me."
Ye Shu opens her bleary eyes and pounds the bed, laughing hysterically. "How did you end up looking like this?"
3.
A vague, ethereal voice: "You like him. Why don't you like me?"
No reply, only the silent hiss of white noise.
