I’ll Come Clean: I Really Am a Fox Spirit!

I was the prettiest fox in all of Xiangshan, beautiful enough to make countless male foxes break ancestral traditions and compete to shower me with attention. Because I had hurt too many male foxes, I was punished just as I was about to cultivate into a spirit, and transmigrated into Li Si'er, the villainess in a melodramatic novel. At this point, Longkodo was preparing to snatch me away from my father-in-law. Pah! What a shameless pair of father-in-law and son-in-law, one old and the other ugly. As the real fox spirit Li Si'er, I turned and threw myself into the arms of a young, distinguished man, then cooed at him, "My lord, save me!" The Crown Prince: "?…!!!" One embrace didn't suit my nature, and to be on the safe side, I threw myself at a few more men. Fourth Prince Yinzhen: "?…!!!" Eighth Prince Yinsi: "?…!!!" Watching them go wild, I finally rediscovered the happy, glamorous life I'd had as a fox. Reader's Guide: This is not historical fact. Please don't scrutinize it. Third-person narration. The heroine is no saint. She's a true fox in character, so please don't complain if you dislike her. The male lead is undecided. Expect a love rivalry. Ridiculously melodramatic Mary Sue fluff, with lighthearted silliness, sweetness, and angst. A flight of fancy. Theme: Love yourself before you love someone else
