For this Goblet of Fire, for the first time ever, invitations were extended to magical schools beyond the usual three, including schools outside the Western European magical tradition.
For example, the Koldovstoretz School of Magic, from Eastern Europe, where curses form the basis of magic. Its champion was Ilya Stepanovich Belyakov, a young man skilled in curses, along with his comrades.
Then there was the one-of-a-kind, independent, and most mysterious Kunlunxu Magic Academy of Huaxia. Its outstanding representative was Wang Shoujing, who could cast Wandless Magic with a casual flick, along with the battlemage alumni behind him.
Representing the most open and egalitarian education system was Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in North America, with James H. Jones, an expert wand user, and his companions.
Eleven magical schools from around the world, along with people from the Huaxia Private Academy, all came together. This tournament was full of twists and turns, each event linked to the next. What would The Chosen One do?
