With a casual wave of his hand, a vast blaze swept away several distant mountain peaks. Every demon present submitted at the sight.
Once everyone had left, the newly crowned Demon King could no longer suppress the anger in his eyes. An aura of danger radiated from him as he cornered Bing Luo against the wall, step by step.
"Archmage Bing Luo, I hear you're looking for a new spirit beast?"
The man before her was none other than her former master.
Bing Luo's expression didn't change. She simply raised a hand and lightly brushed her fingertip across the strange flame at the corner of the Demon King's eye. A large patch of vermilion pigment immediately smudged.
"A trick like this... might fool people who don't have a brain."
As her icy fingertip touched his cheek, the Demon King completely lost the commanding presence with which he'd just surveyed all creation.
