The Iceberg Starlet A Keeps Trying to Mark Me

At the premiere of actress Cheng Minyi's new film, My Ideal Partner,

the host speaks with the entire cast and crew before finally turning to the obscure Mu Xiaoqing. The question is clearly just for show: "Miss Mu, what is your ideal partner like?"

Blushing, Mu Xiaoqing looks at the award-winning actress. "I-I'd like someone like you, Sister Minyi."

Not long after the premiere, the legendary Ice Queen Cheng Minyi seeks out Mu Xiaoqing.

She coldly hands her a marriage agreement. "Want to be famous? Sign your name here."

Mu Xiaoqing appears shocked and terrified as she takes the agreement with trembling hands.

In truth, she's so thrilled that her hands are shaking, and her signature is a crooked mess.

Mu Xiaoqing doesn't really care whether she becomes famous.

She's happy enough getting to act once in a while and see her idol every day.

But Cheng Minyi, who promised they wouldn't interfere in each other's lives after getting married, starts acting strangely.

She keeps staring at the back of Mu Xiaoqing's neck and prowls around her at night, suddenly leaning in to take a deep sniff when Mu Xiaoqing isn't looking.

It gets worse and worse. The actress is no longer satisfied with just sniffing her. During her heat, the Alpha starts asking for hugs and kisses, and even wants to cuddle...

With nowhere left to retreat, Mu Xiaoqing cries, "Hey, hey, Sister Minyi, this is definitely going to end badly!"

Waaah, her poor little heart can't take this excitement.

Much later, Mu Xiaoqing learns that her pheromones can ease Cheng Minyi's pheromone deficiency.

Mu Xiaoqing protests vehemently, "I give way too much by marrying Sister Minyi!"

The other woman shamelessly replies, "You get to ride my coattails, and I get to use your pheromones. Isn't that fair?"

Mu Xiaoqing indignantly protests, "I only got into acting for a very simple reason. I just wanted to watch you from afar!"

"Mu Xiaoqing, come here!"

"W-what for?"

Cheng Minyi steps closer and lifts Mu Xiaoqing onto the table.

With practiced ease, she brushes aside her long hair and gently kisses the back of her neck.

"..."

Waaah, she hasn't even agreed yet, and the other woman is already biting her again. Didn't she say marking someone without an emotional bond was boring?!

One afternoon, Jiang Xuyue goes to her usual coffee shop to pick up an umbrella she left behind and runs into Chu Shiyou, who's writing there.

Jiang Xuyue sits across from her and stares at the umbrella beside her computer. "Teacher Chu, wouldn't it be wonderful if the rain never stopped today?"

"Why?"

"Because you brought an umbrella, and I didn't."

"What if I didn't bring one either?"

"If you hadn't, I would've brought one."

Jiang Xuyue smiles and reveals the umbrella she'd been hiding behind her back.

Later, Jiang Xuyue runs into Chu Shiyou again at a lesbian bar.

Delighted, she's about to buy her a drink when Chu Shiyou beats her to it. "I'm in a bad mood today. Keep me company over a drink, Teacher."

That night, while they're waiting for a car again, Jiang Xuyue works up the courage to invite Chu Shiyou to her place.

But the other woman beats her to it once more: "Won't you invite your teacher over to sit for a while?"

"Teacher Chu, do you mean what I think you mean?" Jiang Xuyue is so nervous her eyes are trembling.

"Mm." Beneath the lights, Chu Shiyou smiles with irresistible allure...
