Some expanded thoughts and specific reflections on writing while working on The Chronicle of Qiyuan. This is mainly a record of the difficulties I've encountered and the things I've considered, organized so I can look back and rethink them later.
(These are all very basic questions, just for readers' amusement. Everyone has different approaches to storytelling and different priorities. If you think the things I've considered are silly or unnecessary, that's perfectly normal. I often doubt myself and reflect on my choices, too.)
Theme: Notes
Indeed, the way to deal with a long novel is to carefully pave the way and let the reader adapt slowly. You may use scenes or other characters to provide an introduction, but in general, these are the writing methods. In fact, I think it is essentially a question of the difference and connection between the author and the reader. The choice of writing method is a grand proposition that the author must consider from the perspective of the entire story. The author knows why he writes it this way, but the reader may not know. At this time, the reader needs to adapt to the author. However, under the influence of various factors in this short, fast and fast era, it is more common for authors to adapt to readers, and the threshold for readers is getting lower and lower. Authors like Cong Yangda, who strive for excellence, have relatively high requirements for readers, requiring readers to read slowly, and even chew every word. Well, to put it simply, I am an author-controller. Inability to read the foreshadowing and lack of patience to read is more of a problem for the readers 😳😳 I used to be very impetuous due to the current assembly-line Internet literature, and after reading it in one gulp, my head was still empty. It can be said that Cong Yangda's book really made me slow down, and I can gain something after reading it again and again. At this point, I think the big writing method is actually a screening process, which is actually beneficial to the readers themselves. I've seen it mentioned in the essay before that some readers don't like Ah Nian. I think it's too flat to summarize a multi-faceted character by likes and dislikes 🤔 A-Nian has many identities given by others, and there are different reasons to like and dislike her from different angles. So I would say, from A-Nian's perspective, I like A-Nian as A-Nian. She is who she is, and her extraordinary resilience is what I have always longed for and pursued. DaDa said that there is no feedback from readers, so here comes it [Sahua][Sahua][Sahua] I really like Qi Yuan Ji, DaDa must continue to go on firmly!! It doesn't matter, I will dote on you 💪 💪 💪 💪
The spy turned out to be Li Jingfeng!
I felt very benefited after reading it! Some of my wife's writing skills really helped me a lot (excited. Jpg)
I fell in love with my wife because I saw "Rebel". In fact, each of us has many sides. Before I saw this confession, I always thought that my wife was a very calm and rational woman with a high education and high IQ. It turned out that my idea was too one-sided. I only saw one side and looked at the whole picture, which was very unfair to my wife. Secondly, I was indeed attracted by my wife's words and fell in love with her as a person. Well, I mean, no matter how I know you, it doesn't conflict with me liking you.
What a real inner activity in writing!
I really like these thoughts written by Da Da. It is really difficult to write articles... Let's work together!
I saw "Secret" on Tieba and started following DaDa!! It turns out that updates were stopped for this reason!
Hahaha, so cute
