Hua Qige transmigrated into a xianxia world and was bound to a System. Her mission was to work with her companions to help the protagonist achieve the Great Dao and bring peace to the Three Realms.
Hua Qige: Got it. I'll keep the protagonist's group together and take the ensemble route. This is our bond!
To get home, Hua Qige diligently completed the preliminary plot. At last, she gathered the protagonist's group and began the first main story arc: heading to the foremost cultivation sect in the human realm to take part in its entrance trial.
After the trial, Hua Qige fearfully said goodbye to her childhood friend, a high-ranking member of the demon realm who had somehow infiltrated the sect. Then, with a demonic sword in one hand and a little lotus flower, the demon race's supreme treasure, happily hopping into her other hand, she braced herself and stepped out of the secret realm. There, she was met with a barrage of looks from all the powerful figures present.
Hua Qige: "..."
Could she still burst into tears and swear to Heaven that she was as pure as could be and had nothing to do with the demons?
...And could someone please explain why the final villain Boss was giving her the demonic sword that symbolized succession to the Demon Lord's throne, while claiming he wanted to take her as his disciple? Was she somehow following an undercover-agent plotline?
Everyone knew that villains and protagonists usually had a historic encounter at some point in the story. As the climax approached, the protagonist and the other members of the protagonist's group furrowed their brows and tensed their muscles. Hua Qige alone stared at the villain Boss for a long while, then tremblingly began hammering the System's doorbell.
"That smug, smiling, laid-back guy is my dad, right? There's no doubt he's my dad, right?!"
[How could that be? Your dad is just a poor scholar. How could he possibly have that kind of ability? (Sarcastically) (In that sort of tone)]
"Oh, good." Hua Qige breathed a sigh of relief. Just then, the great villain's reflective voice reached her ears:
"Oh, that young lady over there looks quite a bit like my daughter, who died young. Sigh, since we're so fated, I'll let you all off this time."
Protagonist: "?"
Companions: "?"
Hua Qige: "???!!"
That's obviously her dad! And all she did was leave her homework unfinished! What kind of father curses his own daughter with an early death?!
[Reading Notes]
1. This is an unconventional cultivation story, with a little modern content interspersed. The protagonist's group is brought together in the early chapters, and the protagonist switches sides later on. It's a lighthearted, satisfying read. The heroine isn't purely good, and her demon-realm friends and family really are demons, and really are bad (especially her dad, a scumbag with little sense of morality who spoils his child rotten).
2. (Updated March 5) Because of unavoidable work commitments and exam preparation in March, writing the final chapter has been very difficult. I don't want to rush the ending, so regular daily updates will resume on April 1. The story should be complete in another six to ten chapters. (For details, see the author's comment in Chapter 149.)

A preview of my upcoming story: The Villain Traits Go Into Overdrive!
Blurb:
As everyone knows, there are two kinds of villains: those with purely antisocial personalities, and those who are tragically beautiful and strong, with heartbreaking pasts.
Isli, beloved by all, had a perfect life. She had a happy family and countless friends, found money just lying on the ground, and even had people offer her meat when she went out for hot pot. Then, for the first time, an obstacle appeared on the smooth road of life for this girl who had transmigrated from the twenty-first century.
[Congratulations, Host! You have been bound to the Villain System!]
Isli: "Oh?"
*
As the archetypal tragic beauty, Alvis had an unspeakable past and a dream of destroying the world. With his unmatched power, he was the perfect villain. Then one day, something calling itself a "System" came looking for him.
[Congratulations, Host! You have been bound to the Protagonist System!]
Alvis: "?"
The System chattered on, telling him he was the chosen "protagonist." After a hundred failed attempts to kill the System, Alvis shut himself away and finally began to doubt himself. His System was delighted and performed a full 360-degree spin for him.
"Even though you're twisted, cold-blooded, obsessive, chaotic, ruthless, and vicious, what if you really are the protagonist?"
So he went to find out.
The System told him he had a formidable rival, a villain who killed without batting an eye. He was curious: who could be even more despicable than he was? He didn't believe it.
So he accepted the System's first mission: go to Easton Academy and find his fated companions and wife. When he followed the directions and arrived, he fell silent.
"Uh... well... Host, do your best! That ruthless villain must have used evil methods to seduce them. Hurry and save your companions!"
Alvis looked at the beautiful girl surrounded by people. She was holding his stranger of a "fated wife" in her arms. More precisely, his wife was clinging tightly to the girl and refusing to let go.
"Don't come so close to me."
The girl's voice held no emotion at all. She was acting so stiffly that she even came across as a cute, cold-on-the-outside, warm-on-the-inside tsundere.
"I'm a wretched person struggling in the mire... I'm not worth your love."
System: "..."
Alvis: "..."
It was time to make his 101st attempt to kill the System.
[Version of the blurb dated June 15, 2023, archived on Weibo]
Theme: Family and friendship are both worth trusting and protecting.
OK, they are brother and sister TieTie 🤩
Ah, Brother Zhuma really likes Xiaohua? Don't do anything sad and affectionate in the extra episode about secretly falling in love with the second male lead. I really can't bear it.
Come on Cuckooꉂ(ˊᗜˋ*)
Welcome back 😚 Everyone will be fine 😣
I participated in a temporary training that lasted for about a month, and my work was very tight. During the training during the day, I put away my mobile phone and did not allow the use of electronic devices. When I came back at night, I had to deal with the urgent work on hand, and I was still preparing for the public examination at the end of this month. I had a bit of a breakdown when I took time out to write a novel these days. When I came back to code today, I was so anxious that I couldn't write anymore. I wrote a few hundred words in an hour, and I wasn't satisfied with what I wrote. It will be completely finished in about 6-10 chapters now. I thought about whether to shorten the less important content and finish it as soon as possible, but in the end I still felt that the ending should be wrapped up in the best way without shortening the outline. The current situation is not good and every time I publish a new chapter, I will panic, so after consideration, I decided to temporarily stop updating for this period of time. Updates will be resumed on 4.1, And then updated daily or more until the end. For all those who purchased chapters after chapter 149 on the day of completion, the purchase fees from chapter 149 to the end of the text will be refunded by sending red envelopes through comments. At the same time, a lottery will be opened on the same day as compensation. I'm sorry!
Happy New Year 🤩 I don't know why I'm so tired, so I went to bed very early
