When Du Sichi was in first grade, his father brought home an “illegitimate son,” claiming a friend had asked them to foster the child temporarily.
Four and a half years old, big-eyed, like a doll, and very good at pretending to be well-behaved.
Du Sichi accepted him on the surface, but bullied and pranked the child in all sorts of ways behind closed doors, including but not limited to:
Locking him in a dark room, pinching his little ***, putting bugs in his shoes, taking him out and abandoning him, and so on.
The doll was sent away after only six months. When they met again, he had grown into a sunny young man, six-foot-three with broad shoulders and long legs. He smiled and shook Du Sichi's hand. “Thanks for letting me stay with you, Brother. I'll make sure to behave.”
His idea of “behaving” included, but wasn't limited to:
Crawling into his bed in the middle of the night:
“I remember you used to be afraid of the cold, Brother. You had to sleep pressed against me every night, and you even pushed me onto the floor.”
Wandering around in women's clothes:
“Didn't you love putting me in pretty dresses, Brother? You even sneaked your aunt's lipstick.”
Messing with him shamelessly while tending to him:
“Why are you blushing, Brother? You helped me pee so many times.”
Because he felt guilty about the things he'd done as a child, Du Sichi gave in to him again and again, until he ended up pinned down on the bed.
“Be a good boy, Brother. Let me bully you a little too.”
