Su You is the daughter of a prince, and her family lives near Miao territory. She and her mother want to conquer the Miao and earn great merit. But Miao territory is easy to defend and hard to attack, so Su You comes up with a plan: she'll go to a Miao village alone, then work with her mother from the inside and outside. She doesn't expect the mountains to be full of poisonous creatures.
Su You accidentally falls off a cliff. When she wakes up, a man has rescued her, claiming to be her fiance. They're about to get married, and he calls her "wife" all day long. Su You figures she must have been incredibly lucky in love before losing her memory.
But one day, Su You receives a note. The man sees it, goes down the mountain for several days, then comes back looking unhappy. After that, he clings to her every day and rushes to hold the wedding. Su You grows curious.
After investigating on her own, Su You discovers that she and the man she married might actually be enemies.
The heroine is not a good person. The hero really is a lovesick fool.
