Qin Yu was supposed to be dead.
She woke in a field of white light. A voice, part mechanical and part inexplicably human, told her, "Complete the missions, and you can stay alive."
"How do I stay alive? In good health? Will I be the only one to survive?" Qin Yu wasn't overly excited. Her life, and the world she lived in, had been broken for a long time.
"Everything you want can come true after you complete the missions," the voice said, its meaning unclear.
Qin Yu raised her head. "Then let's begin."
She had nothing to lose.
